This Very Heavy Duty Food Tin and Drinks Can Crusher was designed by us and manufactured for us and is unique to us
If you only want a can crusher that will last, that the handles will not bend, that the cans will not spring out when you crush them, you have found it
It is not the cheapest but my customers say it is the best so please read our feedbacks and emails at the bottom of the page to see what others have said and remember our 100% refund policy if you are not happy
Due to the Royal Mails postal disruptions we will be sending all items by our other home delivery tracked service courier and delivery will be 3-5 days , at a flat rate cost of £4.59 we have increased the postage rate slightly but reduced the price of the can crusher to compensate(please give a safe place to leave if possible if you are not going to be in) or if you wish to take a chance then choose the Royal Mail option
We listened to our customers feedback and designed a can crusher that is wall mounted (no scratched floors) one that would crush pet food tins, soup tins and other food tins (445ml) if you folow the instructions for use. as well as drink cans up to 500ml (1pt)
The end result is a very heavy duty can crusher, the normal drink can crusher weighs about 1 kilo our new heavy duty one weights about 2 kilos, We have sold in excess of 2000 and as yet not had 1 return.
We have made the handle 2 inches longer (extra leverage) and made much stronger,
The platforms are made longer and stronger to hold the cans easier, there are our patented lips added that are key to it working they also stops the cans from slipping out.
You can help solve the recycling problem by using The Can-Crusher it reduces the size of any 445ml food tin or 1pt of ½ litre or smaller drinks cans down to approx 25mm (1") thus helping to reduce the amount of lorry space needed to transport the cans, thus helping reduce carbon emissions.
The Tin Can-Crusher is ideal for home, office, shop, school, warehouse, canteen in fact any place that food tins and drinks are consumed. Why not get one and put it next to the drinks machine or in the garage
Please read our postage rules, and instructions on how to use the can crusher below it will answer most questions
Instructions for use please read
Fix The Can-Crusher to a firm wall or door
Drinks cans: place can in up right and pull leaver down, that simple, no need to weaken the sides
Tin cans (food, petfood ect): Put can in flat onto the base open end first pull lever down, ( I find it easier to pull leaver half way down first) you can then either place in the recycling bin or if you wish stand the can upright in the crusher and pull lever down again and it will crush the can to about 25mm (1")
See the difference in photo 2 from the cheaper light weight one and ours
Recycling is a way of life now, and drink cans are a big section of it. Cans are part of our every day lives, weather food cans (bean, soup or pet food). over ten billion of them are sold in the UK every year and each one could be recycled back into a new can over and over again, saving energy, raw materials and waste. Because cans are full of air when empty they can become expensive to transport, taking up lots of space, meaning bigger and more vehicles are needed to transport from collection point to processing plant. We can supply any amount, we hold in excess of 1000 in stock

Just a couple of emails that have been sent to me
Dear the-can-crushers,
A bit of feedback re your can crusher: I bought one six months ago for a the Exe Watersports Association Clubhouse. It it used every day and crushes 200 or so cans per week. Six months on it works as well as it did on day one. Please feel free to use this on your advertising - this has been an excellent purchase

I had been researching tin and can crushers for a little while and was always put off by the seemingly flimsy designs out there. I wanted a can crusher that is wall mounted and also does tins. Well there is only one out there and it is this one. You look at all the reviews of inferior crushers and it is always the same. You can only crush alu cans when you put a dent in it first, you have to be careful not to put too much force onto it ... the list goes on. Usually they pack up after a short while. Not this one. I was delighted when I received it. The mechanics are beefed up and it has no problems at all with whole cans or even tins. I am a mechanical engineer myself and I think the design is exactly as it should be. I have no doubts that it will last me a lifetime.

We needed a can crusher because our new recycling system is happy to have cans in the general household waste (gets sorted out later on, they tell us ....). With 2 dogs to feed, not to mention our own use of the odd can food or indeed beverage , the bin bag was in danger of overflowing. As the man of the house seemed to think can crushing came under the same general heading as ironing and remembering where things are kept, I decided to take the plunge and purchase one for myself. I must admit to having been a bit concerned about the general strength and durability of can crushers, but this one is fantastic! Very heavy duty indeed, and makes short work of all types of can. For lightweight (drinks type) cans, give them a gentle squeeze around the middle, then put them upright in the crusher and squash away. For heavier cans, a squeeze round the top (just to make it slightly oval rather than round) then on it's side in the crusher - open end away from you - crush once, then if required, stand the semi-crushed can on end and crush again. Surprisingly enough, I seem to get very little chance to crush cans these days - probably because it's so easy, even a man can do it ...
