Ford Ka 2001

For sale, my 2001 Ford KA.

This is Kevvie. He's only ever had two owners, myself and my Mum. I bought him off Mum when he had 21000 klms on him and have owned him since. He now has 180 000klms on him but I've used him everyday for work and he has NEVER let me down. He has a dead simple reliable 1.3 pushrod 8 valve engine that if serviced regularily as I have done, should last for a very long time. He had to be reliable, I depended on him so replaced all things as necessary as part of maintenance.

Just spent a bit over 300 dollars getting the air conditioner serviced so he has lovely cold airconditioning.  He takes 35ltrs to fill up from dead empty and gets about 500klms to a tank. Seriously!! Cheap as chips to run.

Now I'm not going to BS you, he's got a few knocks and scrapes. Nothing major, but he's far from showroom. He's registered until March and I'll supply a safety certificate if he hits reserve.
I'm only selling him as I inherited another car, and have no further use. I've ummed and arrrhed about selling him as he is such a reliable thing. 

Now the bad points. The heater doesn't work as it began to leak so I bypassed the heater core. No real biggy for me as we live in one of the most temperate climates around. The right hand speaker is dead but it's only a wire because if you wiggle the door it comes alive.... :-) I have a bracket/fascia for a normal size stereo to go into the dash. I was going to do this but never got around to it as my ipod goes with me everywhere..

Reserve is at the very low end, to reflect his average cosmetic condition... Would suit someone looking for cheap and cheerful reliable transport. Please email for all questions.
