Ford XC Allan Moffat Special LAST CHANCE MAKE AN OFFER

Hello to everyone and here for sale today i have my pride and joy which i have owned for the last 13 years or so i purchased the car in 1997 or 98 cant remember to be honest but it has been very well looked after in my time and before hand from what i got told when i bought it i was to be the third owner and i will tell you now about the car, it is all original except for the engine as i bought it without the original motor and the owner before me had replaced with a very well worked 351 but if you look at the motor numbers now i have replaced that motor with a rebuilt and balanced 302 that was originally from a january 1977 fairmont and it is 302 ci and you can check all numbers for yourself but i am being truthfully about all info. All plates are displayed for your convenience and for more info on the car, look up allan moffat specials on the web and go to the writeup called more specials and you will see that all 500 and there was only 500 made and not that many anymore from what i can find out but the cars were all made in august of 1977, the vin no. started with JG23TG, the sido numbers where all 524 and followed by what number car it was and mine is 524 252.  I am genuinely selling this car for good reason (the usual to many project and not enough money to keep some things so it is time for me to say good bye but dont get me wrong i know how much it is worth and dont bother if you think it will be a couple of grand cause obviously you dont appreciate cars for there real value and people like you dont deserve the rite to even site in a piece of automobile history but hopefully others will keep selling these sort of cars to you and make this car worth oh so much more in the long run but my time has come to move on and let someone else enjoy nthis great car so get my message ladies and gentlemen NO tyre kickers, joy riders and NO time wasters. So back to the car for those genuinely interested it is for sale for the right price and i can safely say that i would drive around this country easily in it i have replaced with new the following:

                                                - rebuilt motor, has only done 7000 ks since done

                                                -New 4v extractors by mercury

                                                - All new king springs, nolethane and super pro bushing on the car

                                                - rebuilt toploader gearbox

                                                -new munroe GT gas shocks

                                                - new rims and tyres but do have the original 12 slotters that come with the car and will stay with it

                                                - rebuilt 600 vac secondary holley carby and performer manifold

                                                - slotted brake discs and new master cylinder and the car has 4 wheel disc brakes

                                                - 6 months rego and will supply roadworthy for the new owner

                                                -new front head lights and new halogen +50 bulbs in head and driving lights

                                                - have all the power steering setup to be put on the car as i bought it without power steering but would be a dream to drive withit on especially for the ladies out there

                                                -new seat covers and floor mats to help protect the interior a bit more as you can see it is all white/cream in colour and is very hard to keep clean but is in excellent condition for 32 yrs old

                                                - sony explode cd player and 4, 6", three way speakers

                                                - and also a new car cover as well.

Now as you can see it is very drivable and i do when i can and it does clean up well but could do with a new paint job, a minor dent in drivers front guard and a couple of little bits of rust starting to come through which can also be done when you paint it but is still great for its age and a few very minor things with the interior could be done as well but all in all it is a great car to drive and it has been a privellige to have owned this car named after one of the greatest car drivers to have graced our race tracks so i do want a good home for it to go to thanks for looking and happy motoring to all. I am mistaken as i have just noticed the car must have originally been an auto but one of the previous owners must have changed it to a toploader but it is rebuilt and i can get an auto for it if that is what you want and can also change it over for you but the toploader is the best gear box of the lot and i dont think you will want to change anything on the car and i also have a spare motor for the car too which is also a 302  so again thanks for looking.
