Description
Rare Mid Century
French School Poster
Please note, due to an upcoming trip to California, this transaction will need to be paid by November 21 for me to be able to send it out before my trip. Anything paid after that date will be mailed out December 17 or later from France.
The famous (in France) Rossignol series of mid century school posters includes this particularly rare one. It is part of a lesson plan for school children in the 1950's to learn about leather (on one side) and plastics (on the other).
Because of the time and place, the graphics for the mid century mod collector are fantastic on the leather side, and for the French vintage kitchenware collector, the plastics side is a classic piece from the era, with an illustration that one would be hard pressed to find anywhere else.
Enjoy perusing this fantastic poster.
It is in very good vintage condition with a few signs of use and small tears on the outer perimeter which will disappear behind a frame.
approximately 35" x 29.5"

Please note that shipping to the U.S. is unpredictable. Sometimes the items arrive quickly (in about a week) and just as often it can take several weeks to arrive. For an additional $16 I can ship priority which usually gets it to the U.S. in about 2 weeks, though I cannot nor can the French post office guarantee shipping times.
Special shipping rates for my newsletter subscribers. Sign up by simply sending me an email with "newsletter" as the subject line, remind me at checkout, and I will reduce your shipping for this item by $3!
