I'm in Australia. Insured Postage within Australia is $11.60 and to the USA it's $22.00.

This mini-carriage clock is only 7.5 cms (3") high not including the handle.

It's an 8-day movement. I reach that conclusion because I wound it a week ago, and it's still going!

I'm not sure what the metal is. Perhaps pewter.
The problem with my pewter theory is the inside has a gold colour, which I've not seen with pewter ...

The metal is tarnished and dirty, but I don't think the outside ever had that gold tone.

I searched the internet, and all the little clocks of this style and size were English (though with French movements), circa 1890s.

Here's an image of a sterling silver one I found on an auction site, that sold for many hundreds of dollars ...

The image immediately above is not the clock I'm selling, - it's a recently sold one that I include to compare the style.

I don't believe this clcok I'm selling is sterling silver. If it's not pewter, then it's pewter-like.

The clock winds up and works. It has a soft fast tick.

The internal brass part attaches inside the external pewter part by screws, which are missing.

The ceramic clock face is chipped and cracked, and there's only one hand.

I can't find a maker or any other mark apart from FRENCH MOVEMENT.

This clock has been in a drawer in our house for over 50 years. My mother bought it as an antique in the 1960s. It's grubby and needs cleaning.

Later: In the few hours since listing this, there's been a bit of interest.
As there've been no bids yet, I can add that I've now slightly cleaned one portion of the clock to show how it looks (about 40 seconds of rubbing) and I show the picture next.

Although I now agree that pewter may be wrong, I cannot tell what manner of metal it is. (I cannot find a silver, or any other, mark.)
