" Yellow Bells "

A stunning dwarf species , beautiful in pots. Deep green hastate foliage followed by 10-12cm stems producing 1 or more perfectly proportioned , small deep yellow bell shaped blooms. Once mature , bulbs will multiply well creating a stunning display. Requires a dry rest from Mid summer until early Winter and regular ( once weekly ) watering regime in Spring until foliage yellows. Admittedly took me 5 years to grow this species to maturity ( Im sure I could do it in 4 with more practice :)) but well worth the wait. Mature specimens are valuable and widely sought.

 Bulbs generally reach flowering potential by the  5th season.
