Got a scratched gameboy advance screen? Don't bin your gameboy! Just get one of these. Fitting is easy, here's how:

#1 Take your new screen and get yourself a thin screwdriver so as not to damage your gameboy. Thinner the better.

#2 Stick your screwdriver in the corner, and just loosen the screen so that you can get your finger under there. Don't try to use the screwdriver to pull the whole screen off, you might scratch the LCD. This is the hardest part, take your time.

#3 Pull the screen off with your fingers. Dont worry about leaving behind the sticky tape, it doesnt matter at all.

#4 remove the PAPER backing from the new screen.

#5 put the new screen onto your gameboy. It looks a bit cloudy but don't worry - it has a protective plastic layer over it. Frugal people could leave that layer on!!

#6 peel the layer off with your fingers

#7 CHECK OUT YOUR SHINY NEW SCREEN! Now go play some gameboy color games...

If you live in the USA or Canada and wish to buy one of my games then you must send me a message first to confirm you are aware that you are buying a PAL game. Failure to do this may result in a cancelled sale.

Returns and Distance Selling
Although we hope you are happy with your items, and will not want to return them at all, under the distance selling regulations you are entitled to return the item within a period (we stipulate 10 days). Obviously if there is nothing wrong with the item then postage costs and your return costs are not refunded, only the item cost will be refunded.
Please note that the exception to the distance selling act is for brand new sealed items. You may return them of course, but your refund amount will be subject to a valuation on the item as unsealed. A prime example is if you bought a factory sealed rare game, whereas you return it unsealed, the value could be significantly less. In this instance we would refund you the lower value, as by unsealing the game you have devalued it.

FRAUD PREVENTION: IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ
Console World UK takes all payment fraud seriously. Please note that we reserve the right, and may do the following as part of our anti-fraud policy if we suspect there is a risk that you are attempting to commit fraud:

- Ask that you confirm your PayPal address before we can dispatch items
- Randomly send an item using tracked post, even if the listing does not state such (at our cost)
- Only agree to send the item to you using an insured tracked method (at your cost)
- Ask for proof of address in the form of a scanned document
- Refuse to send to an address other than the one registered in PayPal
- Refund and refuse to send the item should you not comply with our requests for further information

You can minimise the possibility of the above by Confirming your Paypal Address, this is a simple step that protects us and you from fraud.
All episodes of fraud of whatever nature are always reported to the police with supporting evidence.

Returns accepted under the following conditions:
1) Faulty items, these will be checked upon return. Records are kept of items despatched, and these are inspected upon return. 
2) In the UK: the distance selling act. You are responsible for the return shipping cost, if there is nothing wrong with the ietm. You will also only get your refund if the item returns in the SAME condition as it left. So USE GOOD PACKAGING and RECORDED DELIVERY! Always check first (for example there are exclusions to the act, for example, if you bought a new game and removed the factory seal). I will always give a sensible resolution to problems so don't be afraid to ask!

In all cases you must contact me before attempting a return, otherwise I may just think the incoming item is a new stock item!

Refunds by law: In Australia, consumers have a legal right to obtain a refund from a business for goods purchased (but not at auction) if the goods are faulty, not fit for purpose or don't match description. More information at returns.
