GNOME LIBERATION?

Here's a pleasant occupation for a holiday - repainting some old garden gnomes & giving them a new lease of life.

They've been dug up (well, pulled out from under years of undergrowth really) from my auntie's garden.  I have NO idea how old they are, the big one looks quite old.  They're all in pretty good nick, and it's only the paintwork that's worn out - one of them even has OK paint, it was totally overgrown by sweet alice, which may be a Gnome Paint Preservation Tip.  maybe.
The little one is actually a pot plant waterer I think, it's got a sort of unglazed nub & what looks like a reservoir.  They've been very well cleaned - all they need is a lick of sealant, and some bright gloss enamel or acrylic colours. 

Lots of fun, and then......you can give a gnome an home?
