DESCRIPTION

  • A miniature South African succulent which, like many other Gasterias, grows in the shade of other taller rainforest plants and prefers dappled sunlight. This Gasteria has yellowish/white stripes and light green spotted leaves. Makes an interesting specimen for rockeries, pots or mixed succulent selections and can be kept in reasonably shaded conditions as in indoor pots.
  • Grows to approx 5 cm across. Clump forming, but remains a very compact small plant.
  • Specimens on offer are rooted plants approximately 3 - 4cm across.

CULTURE NOTES

  • Prefers shade/dappled sunlight and rainforest type conditions.
  • It is extremely hardy and can tolerate long periods without water and shaded conditions.
  • Propagated from offsets
