      This Authentic Antique Genuine First Edition Original Japanese Woodblock Print By Yoshitsuya Koko Shows Konshita Sokichiro at Mount Inabi from the Rare and Famous Series The Fifty-Four Battles of Hideyoshis' Warriors and Displays the Signature Ichieisai Yoshitsuya Ga in Red Cartouche in the Lower Left of the Scene with the Round Aratame Censor Seal for the Year 1864 in the Lower Right as Proof of an Authentic First Edition Printed in that Year.

     This Rare Original First Edition Antique Yoshitsuya Woodblock Print is Printed on Fine Washi, Hand Made, Japanese Mulberry Bark Paper with Strong Ink Bleed Through to the Reverse Side, Displays Excellent Early Mineral Based Colours, Measures 36.5cm x 25cm (14 inches x 9.8 inches) and is in Good Condition for its Over 145 Years of Age with some signs of the years including some old washi repairs in the margin and some wrinkling which would not be seen when framed. ABOUT THE ARTIST. YOSHITSUYA, KOKO Lived from 1822 to 1866 and was a Student of Kuniyoshi. He is Most Well Known for his Depictions of Warriors and Scenes from Japanese Folk Stories and History. Due to his Short Life and Limited Output of Woodblock Prints his Work is Very Rare and His Best Scenes, Especially Those depicting Famous Historic Warriors are Very Highly valued by Collectors.
