A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
I am listing this on behalf of the owner, any questions or negotiations you have will be passed on to him.
He has told me that "this magnificent chair originally came to King Island, Tasmania on a sailing ship in the early days of settlement."
It is in extremely good condition for it's age and is very solid. There is light surface rust to the nickel coating which should be easy to remove. The upholstery has been fully restored and with a little TLC the chair would be a real museum piece. Freight can be organised, to the mainland, at a reasonable cost to the purchaser.
A great conversation piece for the one who has everything."
NOTE.
The seller is prepared to pay for the cost of freighting the chair to Webb Dock(Melbourne) The buyer to pay from there.
