Alan Watts was seen as one of the most charismatic leaders of the 1960's San Francisco Renaissance. His books became the bibles of the hippy movement, and his teachings - on Eastern religion, sex, psychotherapy, psychedelics - introduced thousands to new ways of seeing themselves and the world.
The cover shows signs of wear and tear including grubby marks and edgewear.
