SMITH & WESSON H.R.T BOOT KNIFE

This genuine Smith & Wesson HRT (Hostage Rescue Team) fixed blade boot knife has a high grip rubber handle and a razor sharp powder coated hammer-forged 440C* surgical steel single-edged blade with full tang.

It includes a steel lanyard, molded sheath with removable clip, and holes for attaching to webbing. Designed to be drawn with one hand by pushing the sheath off with the thumb while gripping the handle. It comes brand new in the box with lifetime warranty and care sheet.

Weight: 120 grams

*Forged 440C used in this knife is one of the hardest (58-60 HRC) and most rust resistant of tool steels. Steels that are made any harder might be too brittle, difficult to sharpen, or prone to rust (e.g. the extremely hard 60-62 HRC 'D2' steel used in some KA-BAR blades are not stainless and are difficult to sharpen).
