HERE ARE SOME LITTLE AND SIMPLE HENCES TO SPOT OUT FAKE SONY MEMORY STICK: 1) The new Mark 2 Memory Stick supports 1920x1080 full HD recording with minimum writing speed of 4MB/s (32MB/S optimised with 4-pin parallel transfer).
2) All Sony memory stick Pro Duo must have hologram labelled at the lower right on the packaging.
3) Always buy Sony memory stick with retail packaging. It is very hard to tell if there is no packaging! Why seller can't ship the item with original packaging if it is genuine? And remember, there is no OEM Sony packaging!
4) Genuine Sony use different colours to differentiate the capacity: 8GB/GO (RED), 4GB/GO (BLUE) and 2GB/GO (GREEN). This colour is printer on the round label at the right bottom of the packaging.
5) The genuine new Mark 2 packaging must have 'long shape' sealing/stapling in this sequence: 8 or 9 along the right & left edge, and 6 along the top edge. THERE IS NO OTHER COMBINATION OR SEALING METHOD!
6) The genuine non-mark 2 packaging must have 'long staple shape' sealing in this sequence: 9 along the right & left edge, and 6 along the top edge (some version have 3 & 2). THERE IS NO OTHER COMBINATION or sealing methods!
