GENUINE VINTAGE SHABBY CHIC EIDERDOWN

This Genuine vintage eiderdown is soft fluffy feather/down and in reasonable condition for its age.

Although faded it is pretty. It made of polished cotton – I think.

It has light cream (not yellowy) background with a very pretty design of

pink and lemon flowers.

The quilt has an delightful style in the main body of the quilt (see picture).

It has a piped edging around the edge made from the same fabric as the quilt.

Size: 170cms long x 106cms wide approx.

Weight: 2kg approx.

Condition: All the stitching is intact except for one small 7cm section,

which could easily be restitched. The piped edging is inact, but there is wearing

at the edge of the corners and a seperation of the fabric - about 1cm.

This looks as if it could be easily repaired. There are no visible tears or pulls.

The feathers are soft plump and even.

The quilt is faded and there is slight water marking on the front, which is

not really noticeable in the overall look of the quilt. However, there is

significant water staining on the back.

I have not tried to remove any of the water staining, it may well come out.
