GEORG JENSEN 18 KT GOLD WATCH WITh STEEL STRAP

Watches really don't get more classic or elegant than this!

This beautiful watch retailed at $5,440 in 2005. Photographed in Georg Jensen 2005 Catalogues with price list attached. It is the larger size of these watches so designed for a man's wrist but can also be worn by a woman who likes a larger face.

Now GJ is selling a similar watch (# 1321) with a leather strap and 18kt gold case for $6,750 (see the GJ website/online store), so this is an absolute bargain!

The case,hands,dotted markings are all solid 18kt gold. The strap is made of stainless steel.

This watch is brand new in its original GJ retail packaging. The battery was changed by GJ in May 2009 (it didn't need a battery change but as a matter of course, we change the batteries of watches in our stock every 6 months so that they are always in pristine working order). We only deal with brand new watches - we used to sell vintage watches but our experience is that used watches with previous owners are unreliable, as it is impossible to tell what sort of history/treatment they have had.

The diameter of the watch face is approx 32mm.

The width of the band is approx 17mm. The wearable length is approx 18cms

The movement is a Swiss water resistant ETA Quartz movement 955.402.

The watch is crafted using hard sapphire glass to make it resistant to scratching and knocks

It is stamped on the back with the Georg Jensen Post 1945 oval stamp of authenticity.

Presented in the original Georg Jensen watch box and outer packaging.
