GIBSON SG STANDARD Here is my early 2006 Gibson SG Standard in Ebony. Made on the 13th March 2006 in Nashville from what I can tell. This guitar has to be heard to believe the sound it puts out. Mellow Jazzy tones all the way to Screaming Lead, it is unstoppable, but unfortunately for me someone else will have the joy of owning it. Everything is stock standard with NO Mods/ NO Breaks and NO Repairs. Headstock and the rest of the guitar is perfect. There are 3 small paint chips that come from using the guitar, so nothing out of the ordinary. (see photos) Plays like a Dream, guitar is well balanced, not sure of the weight, but then again I've never really had a heavy SG, so no real need for me to weigh it. The Action is nice with no buzzes. The Case is like new with not a mark on it, I have taken good care to see that this guitar didn't see too much action, so A lot of time gigging with my other less expensive guitars.
