Please note that heat pads are best used in conjunction with a good thermostat to ensure that they do not under nor overheat an enclosure. Thermostats can be bought seperately in our ebay store.

Heating pads are one of the easiest and most convenient ways to provide required heat to your reptile and amphibian pets. Simply place the heat pad under the enclosure in the desired location and then switch it on. Heat pads give off continuous heat and do not have inbuilt thermostats to control heat so you can buy a thermostat seperately if you want one.

A few tips in using these items:

1. These items are not waterproof so should never be emersed in water.

2. For best results place the heat mat under the enclosure not in the enclosure. If it is in the enclosure it could get wet or dirty, or the cable could aide your pet in escaping from the enclosure.

3. Place a heat resistant barrier ( such as a piece of glass or tile) under the heat mat to seperate the heat mat from combustible materials and protect any furniture that the heat mat and enclosure may be sitting on.

4. Ensure adequate ventilation around the heat mat.

5. Set your enclosure up completely BEFORE you put any animals into it and ensure that the heat inside the enclosure is correct BEFORE putting your animals in. You will need a good thermometer for this and I sell some digitals ones seperately here at ebay.

6. Put the heat mat toward one end of the enclosure as you should have a heat gradient which results in a warmer end of the enclosure and a cooler end of the enclosure.

7. As a rough guide a heat mat that is about a third of the floor size of your enclosure will provide appropriate heat for that enclosure. This is not a rule of course but a good rough guide.

Payment Information

• We appreciate quick payment for products purchased. Should payment not be received within 5 days from purchase date then we cannot guarantee that item will be in stock. In such cases you will be entitled to a full refund.
• Payment via Paypal, Bank Transfer, Money Order, and Cash on Pickup are all acceptable.
• Please be sure to only use your ebay username as the ID for the payment in order to avoid delays. Multliple item listings share the same item ID number so please do not leave the ebay item number as the ID for the payment as will be unable to match up your payment with your sale.

Postage and Packaging Information

• All items are packed and sent out via Australia Post unless otherwise indicated.
• Items are packed and posted within a week of receipt of payment. Public holidays may result in delays. Please only contact us if there are delays beyond this period of time.
• We guarantee that items are in good order when packed and sent, and that items are packed appropriately based upon on our experience in posting out these products. As we have no control over the handling processes of Australia Post registered postage is recommended for your piece of mind.
• If you want protection against your item getting lost or damaged in the post then please choose and pay for Registered Postage which includes protection for up to $100. Any claims are to be made direct to Australia Post as the carrier of the item.
• If you choose and pay for the Regular Postage option then you are NOT covered for any damage or loss in the post so please only choose this option if you are willing to accept responsibilty for the items in the post.
• No claims for damages or losses in the post will be accepted by us as they are the responsibility of the carrier.
• We do not offer express postage services so if you need an item in a hurry please confirm with us first if we can meet your needs BEFORE you buy.
• Pick ups are welcome from Pennant Hills in Sydney by prior appointment. At this time ebay pickups are available on Sundays between 10am and 4pm.

Problems and Returns

• Within reason we will do whatever we can to maintain customer satisfaction and inline with this we promise to give reasonable consideration to any reasonable complaint or request. We cannot guarantee that every buyer will be happy with the resolution, but we can guarantee that we will be fair and reasonable. 
• All due care is taken with listings but should we make a mistake in a listing, or should the item sent be significantly different than the item described in the listing, then you are entitled to a refund of the purchase price once the item has been returned to us.
• It is appreciated if you can contact us within seven (7) days with any requests for refunds as delays beyond this period may result in us refusing your request.
• Items must be returned in good order before refund will be sent. Please be sure to package items appropriately and return to us as soon as possible.
