JUST TO CLARIFY. IF YOU HAVE AN AIRCOOLED YAMAHA OR ARC THIS CC PLUG WILL BE USED TO CHECK YOUR CC VOLUME.

Have you ever won a race meeting? Did the scrutineers impound your engine for compliance checking? Then chances are they used one of these plugs after removing your sparkplug. Yes what happens is that your engine must be cold. They would then remove your sparkplug and insert one of these plugs to start the cylinder head volume test.

First your piston would be moved to a position at the top of its stroke. This is the TDC or top dead centre. Then an exact amount of the required fluid inserted through this plug. If the fluid stays inside the neck of this plug your engine is deamed to pass the volume test.
