A majestic bird flies over a garden of gold created for this mirror's frame by Asunta Pelaez. She paints the immaculate scene by hand on the reverse side of glass before setting it on a wood frame. This fascinating art form is unique to the Cajamarca region of Peru, resulting in a mirror and frame of gilded elegance.
