Echinocereus viridiflorus, known as the Green Flowered Hedgehog Cactus, is a small solitary or clumping cactus that is native to southern USA and northern Mexico.
This small cactus forms small clusters of two or three stems. It grows up to 20cm
tall and 7cm wide. Bright
red and white spines contrast nicely with the bright green flowers that
ring the stem.
It produces abundant lemon scented, yellow-green flowers, 2.5cm in diameter and the same in width over spring to summer.
Very frost hardy to -20°C.
