Title: "Green Tree Frog on Ponytail Plant" (Side View) ARTIST'S STATEMENT It is a portrait of one of the large green tree frogs residing in my backyard. The image shows him perched in the centre of a large pony-tail plant. This calm, placid creature is always dignified. Portrayed as a wise old soul, unblinkingly observant of his surrounds, absorbing all that happens. This is a nature illustration as well as an environmental painting symbolising of a long, wise and healthy life. Frogs are symbols of peaceful, harmonious coexistence & interdependence with nature. In the mythology of many cultures frogs are linked to the cleansing, healing and creative powers, often symbolising the awakening of ones creativity and recognising one's own power of adaptation. Folk wisdom tells that dreaming of a frog means good fortune, happiness and great friendships. May your dreams be filled with frogs...
ORIGINAL ARTIST PRINTS
Printed on high quality 240gm 100% cotton, acid-free, archival, fine art paper. A3 size (approx 11.5 x 16.5 inch). These prints are the artwork's original physical form, NOT reproductions. This art work was created digitally, through painting by hand with an electronic pen on a digital drawing tablet, directly onto a computer. The process of creating an art image digitally restricts the physical presentation of the artwork to printed form. So like wood blocks, etchings, screen printing and photography, it is not possible to have any other physical representation. Each print comes with a signed certificate of Authenticity directly from the artist along with a written artist statement about the image that you are purchasing, a brief bio and an information sheet about how to care for artwork on paper. MATERIAL QUALITY Includes a signed certificate of authenticity which includes an artist statement. Posted flat, sandwiched between thick cardboard so that it will NOT be rolled or creased. View our eBay information guide about how to care for and preserve artwork on paper! Images are printed & distributed by Hexagonal Mandala (Bob & Di Mathews, a husband and wife artist team). Payment will be receipted (and price includes GST for Australian sales).
