This office chair has been commercially manufactured by GREGORY ERGONOMIC CHAIRS. The chair has a full moulded backrest with lumbar support, a contoured seat base for COMFORT, a 5-star black pvc base on rollers and SWIVELS 360 degrees. These type of chairs are generally used as computer, CLERICAL or TYPIST chairs. This QUALITY chair is gas lift operated and has TWO diagrammatic levers on the right hand side. The front lever operates height elevation and the rear lever controls the SEAT angle and the BACKREST tilt. The height adjustment of the backrest is operated via a concealed ratchet system. This is done by applying upward pressure on the backrest and raising it to the individual setting required. The FABRIC appears as a close weave nylon type of material in a solid colour of BLACK. The chair has been upholstered in this fabric on the front of the backrest and on the seat base. On the rear of the backrest is a hard black pvc shell for protection and decoration. There is a black pvc 'G' on the rear of the backrest to signify that this is a genuine Gregory chair. Gregory have also put their signature pleat across the seat base to allow the fabric to move when in use and not to stress the material around the edges. The fabric is in good condition with some colour fading on the sides of the seat, due to age and use.
