This fine 'Maiogi' Dance fan is hand made in Kyoto. The exquisite gold 'Ruisui' or flowing water design is hand stenciled on a deep orange background. It is made with a lovely textured rice-paper and the heavy gold swirls gradate to a silvery colour. The bamboo struts are lacquered in an elegant glossy black. It measures 11½" or 29 cm long and 20" or 51 cm from tip to tip when open. It is brand new and in perfect condition. It comes in it's original box. NOTE: This is a real Maiogi dance fan made for use in Kyoto's famous Gion Geisha District - not a souvenir... Superior quality! MADE IN JAPAN. We have only one of these!
