This particular directory is the first edition of Robinson's Street Directory of Melbourne and Suburbs. It was published to fulfill a long felt need for a clear and up to date directory of Melbourne.

It is not unlike the street directories of today, with over 150 pages of information. It includes an alphabetically ordered index to streets and a detailed key map of Melbourne and detailed street maps of the suburbs.

A wonderful record of Melbourne and suburbs in the early years of World War II. Melbourne as it was in our parents or grandparents day.

High quality scanned images of the whole of the original book. This CD has been bookmarked for easy navigation, and pages can be searched, browsed, enlarged and printed out if required.
