In the last several years the inflation in Zimbabwe has exceeded over 2,000,000% - and that's only the amount the government will admit to! These 100 Trillion notes were issued in January 2009 to allow people to withdraw their wages from banks. In Febuary 2009, the currency of Zimbabwe was revalued with 12 zeros removed - making this effectively a $1 note. On 30th of June 2009, this note was no longer legal tender.
