Georg Jensen Cypress dinner knife Tias Eckhoff 1953

This knife is in the design Cypress designed by Tias Eckhoff for Georg Jensen in 1953.

The knife is in good vintage condition. The original stainless steel blade has some corrosion spots to the edges as shown. The blade is smooth without serrations. The sterling silver handle is marked with the Georg Jensen mark used after 1945 and is also marked sterling. There are fine scratches from use but there are no dents or deep scratches. The blade is firmly housed.

The knife is 122mm long.

All my silver has been gently cleaned with non abrasive silver foam. As such there are still fine usage scratches visible. These could be polished by a professional if so desired.

For North American users a handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches.
