This is a very well made prop that is examinable and clever. You can show the gavel sitting attached to a flat board. The audience can check to make sure there are no gimmicks yet you can make the gavel rise and fall, tapping whenever you want and how many times you want. You can convince people in a seance with this as the gavel can tap in response to your yes and no questions. Freakey stuff that can be examined at anytime. It is a large prop, the board is about 40cmx40cm (running from memory) This is a steal for the price, made all in wood and laquer finish. This a large prop, The board is a good 30cm square.
