For auction is a lovely Ginkgo biloba bonsai, or, maidenhair tree.

The Ginkgo is a stunning looking tree with maidenhair foliage, fresh green in summer and the loveliest butter yellow in autumn.  It is a deciduous conifer and very ancient.

In winter the intricate roots and trunk are a joy, truly a tree for all seasons.

Ginkgo are easy bonsai to care for, they do not grow embarrassingly fast, so pruning is easy and they are undemanding so long as they are fed and watered regularly.

This Gingko was started from seed in 2001 and trained for the last three years.  It is coming on very well and will give pleasure for a long time.The roots are very good and the shape is interesting and will further develop with time and care.

It stands 450mm high

It is in a Quality unglazed pot measuring 300x220x70mm .

Full care instructions are supplied with each bonsai.
