GLADIOLI SERICEOVILLOSUS

" Rare and Beautiful "

A lovely , rare large flowered species to 2m high with opposite facing flowers ranging in colour from white to pale pink (see photo) or burgundy red , all with yellow markings in the throat. Easily distinguished by its broad green leaves with yellow ribbing. Almost evergreen corm requiring a little water all year round and increased during the warmer months.

A very hardy species rarely seen or offered for sale . Easy from seed.

 Flowers usually appear in February to April.

 Corms generally reach flowering potential by the  3rd or 4th season.
