GOLDEN TRUMPET TREE

Tabebuia chrysantha

(This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.)

A native of Central America, this small tree prefers a moist soil in a sunny, protected position. It does not like frost or drought.

A deciduous tree to 7 metres with a spread of 2.5 metres, it has a erect trunk and spreading branches. Its leaves are compound (leaflets form a leaf) while its flowers are a bright yellow, trumpet shaped and arranged in dense clusters. The fruits are pendant capsules.

 Offered is a packet of 30 seeds and comprehensive Grownotes.

 All my seed is posted in bubble wrap.
