"All of their employees were unskilled people, with hidden talents, who had few opportunities open to them. They have trained them in the various skills necessary to make the stunning range of products. All of his employees are paid well above the Government stipulated awards and given many additional benefits including free medical support.

In a country where finding affordable food can be a full time job he takes the pressure off his staff and their families by providing them with two cooked meals each day. He also gives them food parcels to take home to their families each month to further relieve the pressure.

They also continue to support families when husbands and fathers have passed away. On at least two occasions rather than leave wives and other supported family members with no income he continued to pay them wages while putting the wives through a two-year sewing course. On completion he purchased them each a sewing machine and some fabric. They are now both supporting themselves and family by sewing and repairing various garments."
