Gorgeous 1920s/'30s Vintage Antique Art Deco Wardrobe. This is a beautiful old solid wardrobe, with some amazing wood-grain patterns, and beautifully under-stated decorative borders and carved shell fittings. It is in very good condition overall, with just some minor edge wear in places, some deeper scratches to the wood at the back of the right side, and a nail which has pierced the front exterior (near the base on the right side - this wardrobe was converted into a bookshelf at some stage, so there were brackets nailed in, to support the shelves. The shelves are gone, but the brackets remain for now, along with one protruding nail. This is not a major problem, as these can all be removed, and the nail damage can easily be covered up, once the nail has been removed). There is also some minor chipping & wear around the base & the interior, and the board at the back (or part of it) has been painted white. But that said, this is a beautiful old wardrobe. The patterning of the grains on the doors, and the sea-shell carvings, make this a very desireable & attractive wardrobe, to own. Original Art Deco furniture like this, does not come cheap, so you would normally expect to pay several thousand dollars, for a similar wardrobe. This wardrobe could obviously do with some minor repair & restoration work, but at the price I am offering it, it will be well worth doing. 

This is a very impressive, and very solid & stately wardrobe, which perfectly evokes the art deco spirit & aesthetic sensibility. This represents an excellent bargain at the price. It would cost you many thousands of dollars to purchase one of these from an antique dealer. Use the Buy IT Now option, before someone else does!
