Antique Oak Drop Front Desk

This desk is over 70 yrs old and is an antique original.It has a drop down front that has lovely crarved detailing on the front. It is in fair condition , needing a fair bit of restoration to get it looking great. There are alot of marks and scratches all over it and some places where the timber has small pieces of timber missing from the desk being attacked with a pair of scissors I assume. This does not detract from the beauty of this old desk but I think adds character and makes it look distressed and aged even more. There are some tiny paint spots and 1 hinge needs repair on the door. The front drops down to reveal small drawers and nooks  and the inside surface has wear and marks. The original hinge has been replaced with hooks that are screwed in and hold a peice of wool that holds the top down. Please be aware that this desk does need restoration if you want it to look perfect.

The dimensions are - 1160mm H x 765mm L x 410mm W

 Please DO NOT pay paypal then expect me to store the item because you have paid for it, it's easier to pay cash on pickup for both parties.

Direct deposit must be made within 3 days of auction end. NO Cheques.

 Items will then be posted or can be picked up when payment has cleared.

If paying by Bank Deposit please include your ebay name or the item number so I know who the payment is from.

Postage - Unless otherwise stated or arranged prior to the end of the auction items are pickup only from Narre Warren South, Vic.

No Returns - Items are described as accurately and honestly as possible, including any flaws and pictures.

I prefer purchaser to pick item up themselves and thoroughly inspect it.

At point of pickup if you are unhappy with the item I am happy to cancel the transaction as I will offer it to the second highest bidder.
