I have for sale this dramatic Gothic-feel focal piece.

The base is an ornate piece of filigree. Affixed to the top of the filigree is a large bat with outstreteched wings. He has big ears, bug eyes and a pot belly.

The finish on the metal is brass ox. I have done this antiquing myself by hand. All the pieces have been varnished front and back to protect the brass-ox finish.

Dangling below the bat and the filigree is a vintage 13 x 8 mm glass rhinestone pear in emerald green. This has been foiled and faceted for maximum sparkle. Beneath the pear is a small rhinestone chaton in opaque jet black.

This piece is quite large. The wing span of the bat is 70 mm. The total length of the piece is 58mm.

You could use this piece as a brooch or an eye catching-pendant.

FYI, if you would prefer a different color to emerald for the pear, this can be arranged! I can also do different colors in the chaton. Just ask at the end of the auction!
