Greek Art by Max Hirmer & Von Matt-All In Japanese

"Greek Art:  The Great Art Of The World, 2." by Max Hirmer and Leonard Von Matt.

This book is in Japanese with only a few places where English is found.  I am guessing the title of this book is "Greek Art" because of a tipped in plate on the last page that says "Greek Art."  I assume this refers to this book.  The plate also has in English a copyright of 1961, and says Kodansha, Tokyo, N.D.C. 700, 34.0 x 25.7 cm, 216 p, and printed in Japan.  This book does have 216 pages and is the size of about 34 x 26 cm.  Underneath the plate is an acknowledgement in english for the photographs which lists Max Hirmer, Leoanrd Von Matt and others, but mostly Max Hirmer.  There is also English in the bibliogrphy.  Also on the plate is says in English "The Great Art Of The World 2."  On what looks like maybe a title page are "Max Hirmer" and "Leonard Von Matt."  One or both of these people were photographers, maybe one is the author in this japanese book.

Book Condition:  in very good condition, all pages present and tightly bound with no rips, tears, stains, or writing.  Book cover in very good condition also.  The dust jacket is complete, but has edge tears and wear.  Previous owner's name on front DJ flap.  Looks to be a price tag, all in Japanese, on the front DJ flap also.
