"CARS CARS CARS CARS" by S.C.H. Davis, with special photography by Tom Burnside, 1969 First Edition second impression, published by Hamlyn, hard cover with dust wrapper, 141 pages, very well illustrated in colour and b&w, 11 1/4 x 8 1/2" and weighs about 1 3/4 lb or 800 g.
From the former "Bentley Boy" Le Mans winner, a personal narrative, packed with interesting anecdotes and photographs looking back over the first seventy years of motoring. "It describes: Gugnot, Murdock, Benz,
Daimler. Pioneers who made the car practicable. The men who produced cars for the million. Cadillac, Mercedes,
Rolls-Royce. Big, expensive limousines. Mini, Volkswagen, Renault, DAF.
Small popular cars. Toyota, Skoda, Volvo, Moskvitch." etc.
This example has no names or inscriptions and remains in
excellent condition with very light foxing to the end pages and little evidence of use. The dust wrapper (not price clipped) is also excellent with no chips or tears and is protected by removable clear plastic.
A superb example of this Sammy Davis title that would be hard to find these days in such nice condition!
