SILK THROWSTERS WASTE

After the silk is unwound off the cocoon (reeling the filament) the next process is known as 'throwing'. Persons engaged in this process are called 'throwsters' This silk up for sales is as a result of this part of the processing of silk into yarn.

The fibre is suitable for all sorts of crafts spinning, felting, silk paper making, fibre art and mixed media work

I also have the fibre available in natural white in my store which you could dye yourself a rainbow of colours.

Australian Postage is $3.95 for one lot only other wise I can send up to 500 grams for $6.95

OVERSEAS Postage is $6.95 for one lot or I can send up to 200 grams for $13
