For auction is this lovely hand painted, art deco style jug by Grindley, England, #4115. Please use the photo as part of the description. It is in fairly good condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. Unfortunately the trim around the rim and on the handle is worn and faded. There are also some stains inside and around the base outside. The beautiful geometric motif is not worn or faded and there is a smaller motif on the back; the colours are bright & crisp. The background is cream/ivory. The jug is 7cm high to the lip and 7.5cm X 10cm across the top not including the handle. A lovely jug for gravy, milk, sauce, or cream.
Sale is due to down sizing collection. I am not a trader or business. I accept cash on pickup.
I do not post on Tuesdays or Fridays; please keep this in mind when waiting for deliveries.
All my items are given a thorough warm, soapy wash and warm rinse so that (a) you receive clean china and (b) I can thoroughly check the condition of each piece. I try to reveal all faults as I see them and to report the condition of each piece as accurately as possible. Unfortunately, I am human and my eyesight is not what it used to be. If you find a defect I have missed, please contact me when parcel arrives and I will endeavour to make amends. Please keep comments friendly; sellers are people too. I do not accept responsibility for breakages in transit. I have a finite number of pieces so this is a temporary hobby for me.
I charge a small handling fee to cover packaging costs. Save on P & H by combining purchases.
