Hawthorn's proud premiership history began in 1961 when they defeated Footscray to take out their inaugural VFL premiership. The side was captained by Graham Arthur and coached by the legendary John Kennedy Snr. This stunning 1961 style guernsey features the traditional number patch and has been signed by both Arthur and Kennedy. In addition the team in their respective stating positions has been professionally embroidered onto the guernsey. The signatures were obtained at a private signing session and photo proof is available for the perusal of the successful bidder. A certificate of authenticity and a security coded numbered hologram are also provided.
