The rug is a stunning Huge Room Size Village Hamadan, one of the finest and strongest Wool weaves we stock. The rug was woven approximately 20 years ago in Hamadan in the village of Viss in western Iran. This rug represents over a year of weaving time. This rug is an excellent example of its type. The intricately woven design is Geometric Floral Herati Design. Hamadan Rugs are becoming increasingly difficult to find and acquire.

The colours of this rug are stunning and jewel like. The rug is in excellent condition for its age. The weave is particularly strong and the rug weighs approximately 25kg.

An extra thick heavy strong construction.

The colours are well balanced. Most desirable and ideal for a dining or living room. Master Weaves of this quality are highly collectible and in high demand, the size is particularly practical. This rug will serve the owner well for many years. Ideal for commercial.
