Henri Matisse (31 December, 1869 – 3 November, 1954) was a French artist, noted for his use of color and his fluid, brilliant and original draughtsmanship. As a draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor, but principally as a painter, Matisse is one of the best-known artists of the twentieth century. Although he was initially labeled as a Fauve (wild beast), by the 1920s, he was increasingly hailed as an upholder of the classical tradition in French painting. His mastery of the expressive language of color and drawing is apparent, in a body of work spanning over a half-century, and won him recognition as a leading figure in Modern Art.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - $30AUD for all items sent outside of Australia.
DOMESTIC BUYERS - $15AUD express mail. 


RETURNS

1. The items may be returned for a full refund, less shipping charges, only if not as described.
2. We must be advised of your intention to return an item within five (5) days of receipt.
3. The item must be returned via insured priority mail and must be received in the same condition as it was sent by us.
