HERITAGE FRENCH MARIGOLD SEED
These brightly coloured annuals are well-known densely planted in colourful borders.
In the vegetable garden, their insect-repelling properties make them ideal companions, protecting vegetables from attack. Lettuce, potatoes, tomatoes, roses and beans will all benefit from marigolds planted nearby.
Easily grown from seed, these will produce flowers with colour variations from gold to deep scarlet.
The seeds are 'heritage' which means they are an old traditional variety which has been grown from seed saved over many years (not genetically modified in a laboratory). If you like, you can collect your own seed next year saving you money.
This seed has been grown and collected according to the principles of organic gardening (no pesticides or nasties).
Each packet contains over 50 seeds and comes complete with growing instructions. All my seeds are well-packaged and would also make an attractive gift.
