The Giant Russian is the largest of sunflowers. It grows up to 3 metres tall with huge flowers to 50 centimetres across producing masses of seed.
Sunflowers are a wonderful plant for children to grow and marvel at in the flower or vegetable garden.
The seeds are 'heritage' which means they are an old traditional variety that has been grown from seed saved over many years (not genetically modified in a laboratory). Next year if you like, you can collect your own seed saving you money.
