| This is an Original Travelling Art Exhibition Catalogue by Australian Artists, from 1940-1965. It was put together by the Herald and Weekly Times Newspapers, and titled, "THE HERALD EXHIBITION". "1940-1965, THE HEROIC YEARS OF AUSTRALIAN PAINTING". The Exhibition travelled from Melbourne Town Hall on April 2nd 1977, and through all Regional Galleries in Victoria, and finished at Swan Hill Regional Gallery mon August 4th 1978. It has featured many of Australia's Top Artists during that period, with many Illustrations of their work. There is a good Biography on each of the artists. They include Jean Bellette, Josl Bergner, Charles Blackman,John Brack, William Dobell, Russell Drysdale,Ian Fairweather, and many more. It is in Good condition, and measures 7 1/4 inch by 10 1/8 inch, (18.4cm x 25.6cm). This Catalog would make an Ideal Addition to any Good Collection of Fine Australian Art Reference Books.
