This car was purchased new in January 1971 from CV Holland, Rockdale by the present owner and is in original condition with no rust. That is ORIGINAL CONDITION (not restored); it is almost as good as new. It also has NO RUST. It’s hard to find a 40 year old car that is in this type of condition without the need for a full restoration. Original genuine low kilometers (Speedo is in miles 76,500). The colour is florentine gold. The original owners manual and service manual are also with the car.

This is the type of car that everyone talks about “owned by an elderly gentleman who hardly ever drove it”. The owner, who is 93 years young and only recently handed his licence back, can actually be seen in one of the photos.  This car is his pride and joy. It has been meticulously cared for, has always been garaged, regularly serviced and maintained.

The 186 cubic inch engine was completely rebuilt on 16/04/2004 including  chemical clean, cylinder re-bore, rings, bearings, valve seats (to enable the vehicle to run on unleaded fuel), plugs, points, distributor cap, leads, new radiator (because the fins had started do deteriorate from age), new hoses and seals etc.  This was done not because the engine was worn out but because when the head was removed to do the valve seats for unleaded petrol it was noticed that there was some sludge from the type of oil that had been used so the decision was made to do a complete strip down, clean and rebuild.  

Registered until AUGUST 2010 with the original number plates.

Inspection is a must to fully appreciate this wonderful car.
