Hitachi kit Purchased through an Overseas company or Importer then distributed to you

Most overseas models are not the same as Australian models.. BE CAREFUL

Purchased item/s serial numbers are logged as an overseas tool and no warranty or in cases no servicing by any powertool servicing centre will not be honoured as it will be deemed as unsafe. Parts on imported tools are not available and are only available from the country of origin as power supply is different and spare parts are different..Workcover will give heavy fines for tools or chargers wth step down transformer. Even if the tool survives its warranty period parts are not available and If an australian warranty is honoured from an importer it is at there own risk and could lead to safety issues for you if the tool isnt repaired correctly.

If a tool breaks down under warranty and it has been purchased overseas most importers or sellers outside australia will charge a freight fee for the tool to be returned back to them minimum $ 200 - $500 and customs costs also time in lieu without your tool is an issue..in some cases 1-2 months .. Also if the tool goes missing in transit its at your cost..

If the tool has been purchased overseas or an australian importer /reseller the tool/s cannot be claimed as a tax benefit for work purposes.. We provide an ABN which is a legitimate Australian Tax invoice.. So tools can be claimed under the Australian Tax scheme..
