Manufactured in the railway workshops of our B.A.T.Co operation, these kits are the perfect companion to your HO Shay, Heisler, Mallet or Climax powered logging operation. They feature a brass chassis for strength and weight with real wood veneer, wood log bunks & with brass log supports and detail brace additions, styrene/brass brake wheel & rod set, a full set of couplings for each car, log tie-down chain and we supply high quality arch-bar truck kits. They are complete with metal disc wheels, nylon bearings and optional 'clip-on' brake shoes. These bogies run so well that they roll off a 'level' workbench!

 

Stop Press! 2008 kit revision now includes all metal disc wheels plus a full set of realistic Accumate knuckle couplers with draft box - a simple push fit into our brass chassis!
