Answer to Some questions:

  1. The LOG BOOKS do match the vehicle numbers - The vehicle was factory built orginally as a 307 V8....(not a 6 Cylinder). As stated the original motor and gearbox are not in the car.
  2. The current 350 Chev has Double Hump Fuelie heads, Performer  manifold, 750 Holley, Genie Extractors, heavy duty radiator, thermo fans, new master cylinder.
  3. The diff is original
  4. The car is unrestored with orginal paint and looks very reasonable from a short distance
  5. The car is perfectly drivable everyday the owner drives it once month .
  6. The interior is orginal unrestored (Parchment) with exception of power windows at  front added by the previous owner. The orginal winders maybe available. The driver seat has a rip as seen on photos, but apart from that just need a good clean.
  7. The engine bay has been resprayed.
  8. Retractable seat belts are in the rear. (Used for kids)
  9. This car has never seen a drag strip, nor has it been thrashed or mistreated.
  10. This car is always garaged and does not see rain.

Clarification to some more questions-

The vehicle was born a factory 307. I have been told, (although not verified) that  Without the log books you cannot prove if a 80737 HK GTS came out a factory V8 or 6 cylinder as GMH did not distinguish between a 186 or 307 for the HK GTS, only the HK 327 GTS.

 

***Also I have been contacted by an EBAY member who has a  307 block with adelaide numbers, so if you are intending to return the car to its original motor and he still has the engine, I can give the winning bidder his details.
