HOLDEN HQ SS V8 TORANA CORTINA MARINA GOLF FALCON 4WD

On offer here is a rare and early issue of Modern Motor, an Australian Motoring magazine of the 70's, from Jan 1973. This issue is very interesting reading, with test drives and stories of the new Holden HQ SS 253 V8 - the General's economy GT, Torana 6 v Cortina 6, VW's new Beetle - the Golf , Marina TC, Ford Falcon 4wd, 23' Coronet Caravan, Tokyo, Italian and London motor shows. It has 112 pages, plenty of pictures - many in colour. It is generally in very good condition, no tears or damage. The centrepage is missing - I can't remember what was on it, but it doesn't seem to effect any of the articles. There is a reader survey, that as a young motoring fan I felt obliged to fill out. It was never posted, so the preferences shown, by the boxes that I ticked as a 14 year old, will remain cofidential between you and me ! All in all, it's very deserving of a place in your collection !
